Fully oxidized tea leaf that can keep its flavor for several years if stored properly. Contains more caffeine than other tea categories. Grown in mountainous regions of China, India, Sri Lanka, and Africa.

Grown mainly in China and Japan, green tea undergoes very little oxidation during production. It contains less caffeine and retains a higher concentration of vitamins and antioxidants than black tea.

Oolongs vary widely in color and flavor, from bright and floral to dark and nutty. With any oolong, we recommend you rinse the leaves with hot water, to begin with. This is called "Awakening the leaf."

Both the Russian and Hindi word meaning tea, the beverage we call chai originated in India. We make our chai from scratch (using no syrup concentrates or powders), and have put together eleven recipes.

Rooibos is indigenous to the steep slopes of the western cape mountains in south Africa. Completely caffeine-free and pleasingly full-flavored, rooibos is considered a good substitute for black tea. also high in Vitamine C and very low in tannins.
