Bush?s Restaurant
The Big Ed, is named after Charlie's son Ed. The sweet Susie, after Charlie's Daughter, Susie. Lee Howdyshell the present owner/operator grew up working for Charlie starting in 1967 until 1978 where he went to work for The Kroger Company as a Deli/Bakery/Restaurant Manager. Pursing his dream to one day own his own restaurant and catering facility Lee purchased Bush's Restaurant from Charlie and his wife Jean Ann in May of 1985. Bush's Restaurant is the oldest locally owned and operated restaurant in Hocking County.
In previous years we catered to any location in our area. The construction of the Banquet Haus was complete 69 days and nights from the start. We had our grand opening celebration on November 17, 1995 in memory of Lee's Mother, Wilma. Today we cater over 25 weddings per year, in addition to catering other banquets, anniversaries, class reunions, showers, Christmas parties, and other types of meetings, training, and seminars. We are the local meeting place for Rotary Club of Logan and the Hocking County Bar Association. Our facility will accommodate up to 400 people; the largest facility in Hocking County of its kind.
Our Banquet Haus is the perfect place to create memories on your wedding day that will be remembering for a lifetime. Lee and his professional staff will make the most important day of your life with a customized reception and diverse menu featuring the finest buffet.
