We barrel fermented and barrel-aged this wine for 22 months, with just 10% new French oak for some added interest and mouthfeel. In the cellar, we treated this more like a chardonnay with lees stirring twice a month.

Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2016 Pinot Noir Silice Vineyard is very savory on the nose with notions of smoked meats, black pepper, and olive over spicy black fruits. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with brambly black fruits, layers of bacon fat and pepper, with a wonderful juicy freshness to lift all that density and a good frame of grainy tannins, fleshing out on the long, savory finish. This is very Syrah-Esque! 1,000 cases produced.

Few vintages have expressed all the virtues of the Tuscan coast's climate as eloquently as 2016. The 2016 Opus One is remarkably elegant and bright offering sumptuous aromas of fresh red and blue fruit, baking spices and vanilla, and a delicate fragrance of spring florals. The initial bouquet is augmented by more nuanced notes of sage, rosemary, and black olive. Juicy flavors of black cherry, blackberry and cassis flood the palate and creamy, fine-grained tannins deliver a delightfully round structure. Harmonious and lively, the flavors linger to create an enduring finish with touches of dark chocolate and espresso.
On the nose, ripe red fruit aromas are beautifully accented with touches of cinnamon and dark chocolate. The palate has a lush mouthfeel with elegant flavors of black cherry and toasted almond, an elegant tannins structure and a lingering spicy finish.
Dark purple-ruby core with lighter rim and moderately stained, pronounced tears forming on the glass. Aromatic with ripe black and red cherry, blackcurrant and berry fruit, baking spice and sweet tobacco with red and black licorice, oak, cocoa and subtle camphor notes. The palate is dry, nearly full bodied, with ripe black cherry, cassis and red fruit, baking spice and oak accents on entry with sustained ripe primary and mostly black fruit, dried autumn leaf, cocoa and a pleasant suggestion of camphor on the mid-palate into the finish. The finish is fresh and moderately long, showing lingering cherry and berry notes with oak and barrel spice nicely supported by fine, balanced tannins.

Made from scattered vineyards around the appellation, this is a big, hearty Zin, packed with cherries, plums, blackberries, cola and cassis. This challenging vintage resulted in the highest alcohol level ever measured in a Rafanelli Zin, but it's a balanced wine.
This wine is an homage to Joe Duarte, a prominent grape grower in Contra Costa who first introduced Turley to the incredible vineyards of the area. The wine is comprised of fruit from the turn-of-the-century Evangehlo, Mori and Salvador vineyards, planted between 1890 and 1930. As a result of the sandy soils and impressive age of the vines, the wine has some of the softest, silkiest tannins we've ever seen in a Zinfandel.
Deeply perfumed aromas of raspberry and old vine Zinfandel's intrinsic briary spiciness with layered bright fruit flavors reminiscent of a cherry pie with a graham cracker crust. Notes of old vine Zinfandel's complex spice undertones and low yields in the vineyard preserved the vibrant natural acidity and balanced tannins through the long, persistent finish.
Without Petite Sirah the California wine industry would look vastly different. Since its arrival from France in the late 1800s, Peitie Sirah has provided the color, flavor and backbone to many of the state's most popular reds. Stokes' Ghost explores the more complex aspects of this wonderfully powerful grape. Inky black in color, it delivers haunting aromatics, commanding flavors and red velvet tannins.
Dark cherry red color. Intense aromas of red mature cherries, black currants and figs. Layers of cacao, mature tobacco and mild spices. Full bodied and well-balanced with mature tannins and multiple layers of flavors slowly evaporating in a long elegant finish.
This wine is a bit flat in black fruit and moderate structure,. It is soft and round but lacking somewhat in varietal character.
Ruby red with a gold-tinged rim. Deep, vibrant color. A Complex nose. It retains the ripe red-berry fruit aromas of blackberries, blueberries, and block plums extraordinarily well. Gradually it opens up to reveal smoky, toasted wood nuances, with spices and hints of minerals and tobacco. A Smooth mouth-feel, with sweet, polished tannins. A long, elegant, perfumed finish with final hints of coffee with chocolate.
Deep dark color. Blackberries, wildflowers and juniper. Flavors of blackberry, black currant, cherry, plum tart and cocoa. Nice balance with meaty, tannic lingering finish. Elegant and complex.

A classic expression of Napa Valley Merlot, with a fleshy entry and juicy layers of Bing cherry, raspberry, and plum, along with hints of blueberry, cedar, vanilla, and clove. Underscored by polished tannins, the juiciness of the entry evolves into a lush, silky texture that carries the flavors to a long, generous finish marked by notes of freshly ground coffee beans with a splash of ripe, red cherry.
Deep red with violet hues. Complex aromas of balsamic notes, red fruits, and spices. Its structure is excellent, full-bodied tannins leaving a firm sensation in the mouth. Nice and lasting end.
Brilliant light ruby color. Light fresh aromas of strawberry and raspberry. Medium body with favors of strawberry, watermelon, raspberry, caramel and fig. Clean, tight finish.

The 2016 Arsonist Red Blend has expansive aromas of violet, rose petal, saddle leather and orange peel. The 2017 Illumination is an elegant balance of exotic flavors, fresh acidity, and great texture. Aromas of guava, pink grapefruit and kiwi are intertwined with peach blossom and fresh thyme to create a lively bouquet. On the palate, the wine continues with flavors of white peach, lemon sorbet and a distinctively creamy texture that finishes with mouthwatering minerality.

From the lower terrace of our Te Muna Road Vineyard in Martinborough, this wine is sourced exclusively from several parcels of vines growing on stony, limestone influenced soils. Pale lemon straw. Vibrant aromas of nectarine, green apple, honeysuckle and a hint of nettle. Lovely precision on the palate with a core of zesty fruit and a long satisfyingly dry textural finish.

The delicate and complex olfactory expression opens on aromas which remind of white flower, exotic fruits. There is a very beautiful complexity for a vintage where the end-of-season's sun brought a lot to the aromas. Excellent complexity that translates into great and elegant richness. Nice attack, straight and bright, it takes place with elegance on fruity notes associated with a dense structure and a beautiful acidity which brings a great length in the end of the mouth. There are aromas of exotic fruits (litchi, mango).
Pale and vibrant in color. The Pascal Jolivet Sancerre is fresh, clean and screaming with racy acidity. On the palate it is fresh and tightly wound; acidity is tempered by very subtle residual sugar; very clean; alive, racy, youthful. Overall, a dry and elegant wine.
Brilliant lemon yellow. The nose is young with white flowers, grinded lemon peel and pears. The palate is firm and fresh, well balanced with crisp acidity. Complex, exceptionally balanced and refined.
Floral aromas of orange blossom and jasmine are complemented by fresh notes of green apple and grapefruit. On the palate, this bright, yet luscious wine evolves with flavors of nectarine, white peach and honey-crisp apple. The minerality and beautiful acidity provide an invigorating finish. Our Dry Riesling pairs best with bright, fresh flavors. Fresh cilantro, lime juice and zest, raw fish, and jasmine rice play well with the floral and acidic notes of this wine. Chef Chris suggests pairing with butter poached lobster, halibut crudo, or burrata crostini with avocado, cilantro and lime.

Straw-yellow in color with aromas of pear, pineapple, acacia, toasted nut, honey and spring flowers. On the palate, this wine has excellent acidity, yet fine smoothness, with a hint of toasted almond in the finish.
It is light straw in color with pleasant aromas of ripe melon and freshly picked Macintosh apples. Crisp and light on the palate with lovely pineapple, Bartlett pear and apple flavors that harmoniously intermingle with orange zest and almond notes. The finish lingers with spicy tropical fruit. From the Kamptal wine region is Austria, a 100% Gruner Veltliner fermented in stainless steel to retain its vibrant acidity.
