An interesting mix of hotel guests and local professionals fills the nooks and tables. Its central location makes MJ O'Connor's a popular place for an after-work drink. At night, livelier scenes can be found just minutes away in the Alley or on Boylston Street.

The Draw
One of the best-looking Irish bars in the city, O'Connor's is great for a quiet pint of Guinness by the fireplace on a Sunday afternoon. Only a few years old, it doesn't have the weathered, lived-in feel of most other pubs in the area. The mostly Irish waitstaff is friendly and competent. TV screens show international soccer matches and other sports events. A solid beer selection is complemented by a fully stocked bar. The extensive food menu includes authentic Irish box lunches and other specialties (fish and chips, shepherd's pie). Prices are reasonable across the board.
