The Scene
There's nothing fancy about the decor here. The unpretentious setting allows diners to concentrate on the food. A feast for the senses, the meal is grilled directly at the table's charcoal pit. Any language confusion with the swift-footed servers adds to the authenticity of the experience.
The Food
The highlights of the menu are the barbecue options, with about a dozen meat choices from bulgogi beef, thin-sliced rib-eye, to kalbi, short ribs. Server will assist with the grilling, but stir in your own seasonings, such as garlic and green peppers, to taste. Small side dishes range from the traditional kimchi to other delicacies such as seaweed. Some are spicy, some sweet--all are good for sharing.
