The Breakfast Food
The Pink Flamingo lays an egg omelet the size of most dinner entrees. Stuff it with your choice of a dozen or more fillings and order a side of the best homefries in Tampa. Pancakes, French toast or biscuits and gravy...any breakfast at the Pink Flamingo will cure whatever ails you. If it's Sunday morning, expect to wait for a table--come prepared and bring along the Sunday paper.
The Lunch
Homemade soups change daily for lunch, so make sure you ask or check the specials. Salads and sandwiches are standard lunch fare, but try one of the hot-off-the-grill specialties like the black Russian melt (turkey and roast beef with mushrooms and cheese) or the grilled chicken Philly (like the steak version, but clucking instead of mooing).
