In Short
Operating out of an old house, this small Creole and Cajun breakfast institution has been a Boulder favorite for years. Although Lucile's does serve lunch, breakfast is the specialty--and it's popular; expect up to an hour wait on weekends. A favorite menu item is beignets--a sort of doughnut topped with powdered sugar. Eggs Sardou combines poached eggs with creamed spinach and Gulf shrimp. Light options are limited--even rice pudding porridge is topped with cream.
