The food along with the decor is good but completely unmemorable. For what you get, it seems overpriced. Would scratch off my list of places to try.read more

In Short
From the large patio in front full of garden-like tables, Whisknladle still shows signs of it's past life as ''ladies-who-lunch'' mecca, Fresh. But one glimpse of the sleek new bar and lounge zone with pendant lighting and shiny white ottomans, and we're reminded of its new life as simple, hip, neighborhood spot for drinks and food. Owner Arturo continues to work with chef Ryan on the slow food-focused menu, compiled of mostly local and sustainably produced produce. Standout appetizers include a tangy beet and tangerine salad, smokey grilled asparagus and rotating soups made fresh daily. Lunch and dinner menus vary widely, from homemade papardelle pasta with bolognese sauce to Niman Ranch hanger steak to chorizo and date fritters.
