West Egg Cafe
ATLANTA, GA
Amazing food You get a complimentary valet service with honest friendly people. And the food there is just phenomenal. I ordered the black bean cakes and eggs and a side order of rosemary potatoes. The eggs were done just right and the cakes were beyond tasty. The location may not be the best, as it is located amidst building constructions. The interior mingles (but not mangles) a look of industrial lethargy and natural colors. The waiters fit the look as well, wearing black hoodies and baggy pants and such. And the prices are just a bit too high. But with food that great and people that friendly, I can see why it's turning into the next Atlanta breakfast hotspot. Reviewed on 02/13/2008

Abdullah The Butcher
ATLANTA, GA
Great name, better food You can't beat a place that's called "Abdullah The Butcher." I mean, I get tingles when I recommend to my friends to try out "Abdullah The Butcher." The classic look on their faces :) But the food more than speaks for itself. A wide variety of bbq and wings, in an atmosphere that harkens back to how the 80s should be remembered by! While it is a bit of a drive from Midtown, it nevertheless is one of those rare places that's worth the trip. Make sure to invite your friends and watch them be amazed as Abdullah certain doesn't butcher taste! Reviewed on 02/05/2008

On The Border
Atlanta, GA
price > taste Its location is in a prime spot, less than a mile from Lenox up in North Atlanta. But there are clearly better places to eat Mexican food than here. It's possible that they're trying to mimic an authentic pueblo-style cafe, but there's a clear difference between the two and that's the price. You know that there's something wrong when the free appetizer tastes better than what you pay for. If they should slice their prices by at least 33%, I may give a higher rating. But this place so does not have the best bang for your buck Reviewed on 02/05/2008
