Posh and yummy This is a fairly upscale, casual restaurant, beautifully decorated with a gorgeous patio in a lovely neighborhood. It is very hip and the food is fantastic. The prices are average for a posh place in Midtown. The service is great, and the atmosphere is laid back and trendy. A great place for a glass of wine, some good food and conversation, when you want to treat yourself to something beyond your regular hangouts. Reviewed on 01/24/2008

Don't judge the book... This little BBQ spot on the corner of Clifton and Briarcliff near Emory's campus is possible the best BBQ I've ever had. It looks like a shack from the road (out of place in a nice neighborhood), but give it a try. My parents (who more often dine at 5 star establishments) fell in love with this little restaurant and I brought them Dusty's sauces for Christmas one year. It's a crummy little place, but it's worth it. Reviewed on 01/24/2008

Doc Chey's

If you like it... Make sure that you truly like Indian food before deciding to go to Doc Chey's. When I was a student at Emory, many of my friends loved going here, but I hated it when this was suggested as there is not a single thing on the menu I enjoyed (I dislike curry and coconut and there was not a single thing without one or the other). Now, if you do like this type of food, I hear it is the best in town and something people miss when they move away. The atmosphere is ok, and the food comes out quickly. Reviewed on 01/24/2008
