The ribs at this place are beyond outstanding. Seriously, you have to check it out. Especially Georgia Tech students, if you haven't gone to Tech Square and eaten at 5th Street, then you are missing out. The service is also really good. Don't sweat the long lines the happen during lunch hours because you will be served quite fast. Make sure that you check out this really great restaurant. Do it today.

... Excellent

The service was great, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was electric. When compared to the plastic-like food of the dining halls, there's little to be disliked about this place, especially with the great ribs. Great place to hang out with your buddies on a Friday night, or to take a date.

... Decent Ribs, Good Location

This barbecue joint located in Technology Square is a favorite with Georgia Tech students. During lunch, the line can snake out the door, but don't worry, the service is fast and keeps the line moving. Prices are reasonable and the barbecue is decent to good, as are the sides, especially the Brunswick stew and the rum baked beans. Sometimes they have live blues music in the evenings.

Ribs and blues is a great place for Georgia Tech students to grab some dinner. They have a wide variety of choices. They also take Buzzcard which is great. The atmosphere is nice and the service is good. Their prices are also resonable which is nice for college students. Ribs and Blues is a great addition to Tech Square.

Fifth street ribs and blues is a great place for Georgia Tech students to eat. The prices are very reasonable and very good. I would recommend this restaurant to any one. If you like good food and a great environment, then fifth street ribs and blues is a great place for you.

... Excellent Food and Service

Ribs N Blues knows how to make good food fast. You order up front, grab your drink, sit down, and the food is brought to you within five minutes. The chopped pork sandwich is amazing. The chips that come with the meal are just a bag of lays. Good place for a thirty minute meal before a class or for a good time with friends.

Excellent

Being a Tech Student, Ribs N Blues is an excellent choice since it is basically on campus. The service there is great and the food is ever better. Prices are phenomenal and their daily specials really attract a great customer base. Fridays are especially great because they have $3 pitchers the whole day! Ribs N Blues accepts cash, all major credit as well as buzzcards. Hands down wonderful food!

Ribs N Blues cooks up some pretty good barbque. The sandwiches are good and the prices are fair. I haven't found a better barbque joint in this part of town. The line gets a little long at lunch, so plan early. They can accomodate a large party. This is a very casual restaurant. They also serve beer. Parking on the street can be tough but there is a cheap parking deck just around the corner near the Georgia Tech hotel. It's a great place to go on a warm Spring or Summer day when you can sit outside.

5th St. Ribs N Blues is a high quality barbeque joint located in Tech Square. It is convenient for tech students and they accept buzzcard which can be another added convenience. The ribs are exceptional, but at $9.00 for a half slab with no sides except a single slice of untoasted, unbuttered white bread, its hardly a bargain. The ribs are very good and the sandwiches are a tasty and less expensive treat, but for a college restaurant, it still seems pricey. Keep in mind that any side dish and drink is extra. For a half slab of ribs, a regular drink, and one side of cole slaw, you would end up paying over $12.00.

good, affordable bbq

Ribs and blues is a great place for tech students to enjoy tasty bbq at a price students can actually afford more than once a semester. For starving students the all you can eat bbq on thursdays is a great way to spend a night taking a break from studies and enjoying a (or more) great plate(s) of pulled pork and chicken

... Good, fast, & Convenient

Ribs N Blues has been a weekly staple for me for all four years of my college career. You can't beat the convenience if you are a Tech student or work at Tech Square. Don't get me wrong , the food is darn good too. I think I've had about everything on the menu, and I can honestly say that I don't think that there is an item that I don't like. My personal favorite is the pork sandwich. I must say BBQ is one of my favorite foods and this pork sandwich competes with the best of them. On top of the food being delicious, the service is awesome. Food comes out within five minutes no matter how busy it is. Overall I highly recommend Ribs N Blues to anybody seeking great food and good service.

Good BBQ on GT campus

The food at 5th St. is great and quick. If your in a hurry and you want to grab a quick bite to eat that doesn't taste like it was microwaved and thrown on a bun, this is a great place to go. The mashed potatoes are delectible, the rib sandwiches are great, and the prices are great too. I would recommend it to anyone who has a taste for some barbeque.

BBQ in ATL

5th Street is a nice addition to the uber-urban restaurants in Tech-Square. It has a traditional barbeque pit feel and the menu too. The dishes were simple and straight-forward. However,they don't serve french fries, sort of odd, but the BBQ is tasty and reminds me of home in the middle of Atlanta.

BBQ

I personally like Ribs N Blues very much. If you can eat a lot, go for the all-you-can-eat buffet on Thursday nights. You can have both pork and chicken BBQ, and the price is great. The people who work there are always very friendly, and the service is great! It adds a great variety to the places to eat in Tech Square.

... cheapest ribs

for Tech students, ribs n' blues is a pretty decent local dine-in for any part of the day. Fridays reel in the most students because of their $3 pitcher deal which comes to no surprise. The food is mediocre at best however but the closest source of barbeque to campus. If willing to drive, fat matts has much better bbq.

Ribs n' blues is a very convenient place for college students. Their service has always been good, and their BBQ is solid. The mac and cheese is a good side, and I always get it. I like their GT decorations. It is a good place when you are on the go in Tech Square and tired of Moe's.

... Good, quick meal

For those who aren't interested in Asian, Mexican, or deli foods and want some good old fashion BBQ, 5th St. Ribs N Blues in the place to go. They offer both chicken and pork sandwiches and platters at a price you can't beat. If you want to be a part of a friendly BBQ atmosphere, this is the place to be.

Amazing

The atmosphere is a bit old-fashioned but absolutely comfortable. The staff is extremely polite and the menu is diverse that any BBQ lover can find something that he/she is interested in. It's a tad on the expensive side (especially for college students) but the specials that they run throughout the week make it affordable. The food is fantastic with the pork sandwich a must try.

... Great Lunch

Located in Tech Square, this small BBQ place provides a great place for lunch other than fast food. It is not expensive and you get plenty of food. With inside and outside dining, it is great at all times of the year. The cooks are very polite and the food is prepared very quickly, and yet is hot every time. If getting a sandwhcich i suggest asking for asuce on teh side until you have tried the sauce it is a original taste.

The food here was pretty good. I had a plate of ribs, my girlfriend had a pulled pork sandwich. I must say that her sandwich was way better then my ribs. The BBQ sauce there was pretty tasty. It is a real plus that this restaurant accepts buzzcards as well.
