some of oregon's best pinot comes out of argyle, and this one is no exception. earthy aromas lead into beautifully textured blackberry and bright cherry fruit at the core. finishing long with crisp, chewy tannins.
last years release scored a 94 with the wine spectator. the '4 is ripe, round and seductive, with a beautiful mouth-fell, leading to an incredibly long finish. flavors of spice, and dark fruit.
a blend of 48% cebernet sauvignon, 40% cabernet franc. this is a very complex wine with a deep purple color and flavors of dark fruit, currant and spice. finishes with wonderfully integrated tannis.
