The Food Those who try the classic bouillabaisse will quickly realize why the chef's talents are world class; it's loaded with lobster and shellfish swimming in a rich broth laced with sweet Pernod. Though the menu changes regularly, favorite items such as this and the penne arrabiata are staples. Gnocchi is another standout, with sauces that change seasonally; in summertime, it's a golden tomato coulis with licorice basil pesto. Save room for the famous vacherin glace, a mound of tender meringue stuffed with layers of ice cream and doused with fresh raspberry sauce.
