In Short
Early '60s elegance abounds with shades of coral emanating from the room. Except for a few simple gold and blue abstract designs, there are no other adornments, save a wooden trench coat-and-hat sculpture by Rupa Di Monte. The entrance is jazzed with colorful blown glass balloons. The menu offers up seven dishes that range from smoked eel and red mullet fish to roasted venison in port wine sauce and black truffle.
Veteran restaurateur Piero Selvaggio, known for cultivating one of the finest wine cellars in the world, brings his famed Los Angeles restaurant 'Valentino' to The Venetian. Valentino at the Venetian showcases an innovative menu that is faithful to the Italian culinary tradition. The cuisine is contemporary Italian focusing on the quality of ingredients, revisiting traditional recipes, and adapting to the local market. Many of the ingredients in the kitchen are imports from Italy, including white truffles, fresh porcini mushrooms, burrata cheese from Puglia, and Mediterranean and Adriatic Sea fish.
