The Scene
With a plain pattern of orchids on the wallpaper, this place doesn't feel much like a traditional Thai restaurant. The Thai servers even slip in a ''y'all'' from time to time. It's a bright, airy place: ethnic for those who might be timid about ethnic. South Charlotte couples and families—American and Asian—crowd the restaurant on weekend nights.

The Food
All your Thai favorites are here: pad thai, fried noodles, soups, salads curry dishes and stir-fry, available with a choice of seafood and meat. The meals are uniformly excellent ... the shrimp tender, the vegetables bright. Treat yourself to one of the house specialties—fried whole fish in curry sauce, jumbo shrimp in a clay pot, fried rice served in a pineapple, or seafood in oyster sauce served in an egg noodle basket. You'll have enough for leftovers, and that's a good thing.
