The Scene

Many Indian buffet aficionados measure their experience by the quality of the nan-flat bread flavored with herbs. Jaipur passes the test, keeping the serving area stocked with hot, fresh pieces.

The Food
In a city where meat-and-three is part of the cultural heritage, vegetarians are particularly lucky to have Jaipur and its 20 meat-free entrees. Dieters will enjoy tandoori dishes?meats and seafood cooked in a clay oven that seals in juices and makes food flavorful without much added fat. Wash it down with a mango yogurt drink called lassi, and you'll be convinced the calories didn't count.
