The Scene
I Love Mr. Sushi isn't big on atmosphere. Located in an unasssuming strip mall, it's by no means a dump, but it is a little rough around the edges. It's perhaps this simple atmosphere that draws the sushi-philes in: all sushi, no frills.
The Food
Prices are about average for sushi, so don't come looking for a big bargain. While the regular nigiri sushi is good, the pieces are a little on the small side. The makizushi (rolled sushi), however, is outstanding. The dynamite roll with spicy is always delicious, and the tasty caterpillar roll--crab and avocado rolled to resemble a green caterpillar--is Mr. Sushi's trademark. If you feel like splurging, the rainbow roll is terrific and contains enough variety to satisfy anyone in your party.
