In Short
Formerly a Burlington Northern train station, this brewpub is on the National Register of Historic Places. Character oozes from the cozy bar: old-time photos of the city displayed on the walls and carousel horses hanging from the high-beamed ceiling. The menu can get pricey and offers variations on American staples: appetizers, salads and entrees (steak, ribs, shrimp)--plus hearty burgers, like the Freight House Burger with sauteed onions and lots of cheddar. Bands play on weekends.
