In Short
Mac's is a comfortable, friendly place that doesn't stand on ceremony. Help yourself to a can of pop from the cooler, and plunk down to wait for your order in a well-taped-up booth. The huge, golden-battered slabs of halibut have no ''fishy'' taste--just solid, tender, flakes, as white and mild as milk. Both this and the chicken options come as sandwiches or in a basket, along with fries or tasty cole slaw.
