In Short
The Wild Onion is styled after traditional Chicago bars, although you may not get that until you see the Sears Tower Onion Rings and Wrigley Field Pastrami next to the steak Diane and Cajun walleye on the menu. What's more obvious is that this place is an Esquire-reading, microbrew-savoring, ESPN-loving man's haven. It's warm and surprisingly elegant, with exposed-brick walls, a Frank Sinatra soundtrack and booths overlooking Grand Avenue.
