Haute cuisine? Hardly. Just hearty, semi-authentic Southern food with friendly service in a fun restaurant and bar--lots of neon, noise, Southern-state flags and swirling ceiling fans. Couples and friends sway to the recorded zydeco and watch a toy train circle the bar. Ribs teeter off plates and are available in various combos. Platters like chicken-fried steak and smoked prime rib are served true Southern style with sides of black-eyed peas, green beans and skin-on fries.
