In Short
Students, their teachers, artists, neighborhood people, Cass Cafe brings in a mostly young, mostly hip crowd, and some who used to be and still wanna. The decor is unexceptional, with ceilings that are high, not low and smoky, but don't miss the bathroom stall hardware, reminiscent of a medieval prison. Some would call the fare ''college food'': sandwiches on pita, croissants or bread; burgers of beef, turkey, tuna or lentil-walnut; chicken wings, smelts and shrimp.
