  • ... Great Neighborhood Pizza Joint


    Elwood's might be in a Kroger parking lot, but the pizza makes up for the unfortunate location. When I first moved to Brookhaven I thought Mellow Mushroom was the only option for good pizza. Then I decided to check out Elwood's after seeing it everytime I finished my grocery shopping. Let me tell you, I haven't turned back. The pizza is perfect with golden crust and ample toppings. I love how I can order and not hear "that will be 45 minutes." No matter how busy the restaurant is, the pizza is always ready on time and in less than 25 minutes. These guys know what they're doing and they do it good. Not that I have any, but it seems to be a very kid friendly place. If you're not interested in high pitched screams, order it to go!

    I got the Works Sicilian for me and my roommates one time. It satisfied all of our hungers because it had so much to it. Also, splitting the price between four people allowed each of us to pay only about six to seven dollars. The pizza quality is good too. It's the sort of pizza you like to get for a football game or a basketball game, because you know it will last the entire game. Make sure to get pizza from Elwood's Pizza if you ever get the chance. I am sure that you will be satisfied.
