... A lovely evening

We had a lovely evening at Santa Fe Grill on Feb 17. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I had the lamb bocados which I thought were delicious. The lamb was flavorful and tender. My partner had the (shredded) beef enchiladas which she enjoyed very much. My sister had the vegetarian burrito. I had a cosmopolitan that was mixed perfectly. Even the basket of tortilla chips and chunky salsa on the table were yummy. I should note, however, that nothing we had was spicy - flavorful and fresh - but not spicy. If you enjoy spicy, this restaurant's adaptation of TexMex food might not be for you.

... Not a great night

Atmosphere was great...nice selection of dishes..food was a little dry...DON'T have the frozen margaritas, as they tasted metallic, stick with traditional... the waitress forgot our drinks, and offered to buy us a round (a sangria and a Sprite), then informed us the manager forced her to put them back on the bill. she was nice enough to take money out of her pocket to pay. What a guy..make your customers wait 30 minutes before ordering and then make the waitress pay for the drinks..we didn't accept it and felt very bad for her that she would have to work in such understaffed, sweat-shop conditions. The fired avocado was interesting, I will say that.

... Service okay... But

Wasn't happy with the manager. Table service people were okay. Food, ahh and drinks didn't cut it.
