Ashore since 1969 and inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's ''Treasure Island,'' this pirate-themed fast-food chain has since gone global. Batter-dipped fish, chicken and shrimp ''planks'' are the menu staples, combined with fries, coleslaw, hushpuppies, corn and desserts to create value baskets and Treasure Chest Family Meals.
