The Scene
This local institution exists only to serve the house special. Practical eating defines the family-friendly environment, and cleanup is a snap thanks to the brown paper laid out by Obrycki's tuxedo-clad servers. Let your inner child flourish as they tie a ''Baltimore's Famous'' paper bib around your neck, proudly displaying the city's most charming mascot.
The Food
Obrycki's serves steamed crabs without the requisite Old Bay seasoning (a staple in Maryland households), but it does so with confidence and gusto. The house blend of ''magical seasonings'' is a peppery mixture that perfectly compliments melt-in-your-mouth crab. Save some dough and order the medium-sized treats bursting with meat. And let's not kid ourselves: Crab is labor-intensive, so enjoy the fruits of your labors with an ice-cold draft beer.
