As with true taquerias, Cantina La Mexicana's sauces are minimal (more like condiments, really), but that doesn't take away from savory authentic treats like tamales and chalupas. Prices are exceptionally low, as most patrons can fill-up for under $5. After ordering at the counter, patrons take a seat in the colorful dining area. Other popular items among the lengthy menu include tortas, flautas and quesadillas.
