Comfort food in a comfortable environment, with some extra class and inventiveness, defines this quaint Quincy restaurant. A giant, fat and happy cat painted on one of the exposed-brick walls welcomes diners to the intimate bar and dining area. A varied wine list and mixed drinks are served at the bar, and the eclectic American menu offers a bit of something for everyone. But variety does not undermine quality, as each dish is prepared with extra touches, creative ingredients, and unexpected flavors. Highlights include fried pickles, pulled pork nachos, twelve different varieties of wings, hand-cut fries with a choice of seasonings (Cajun, blackened, fajita) and lobster mac-and-cheese. A friendly and unpretentious staff completes the experience.
