The Scene
A favorite among families and seniors, Paddy's often has a wait for its warm, homey dining room. (The large, mahogany bar is a good spot for passing the time.) Many come to take in the bar's exceptional beer selection and above-average appetizers, including tasty, made-to-order pizzas. Many of the friendly waiters are Irish.
The Food
Standard American and Italian dishes are served at reasonable prices. There are sandwiches, soups and salads. The dinner menu features an endless assortment of beef, chicken, seafood and pasta dishes. Chicken pot pie is a customer favorite, as it is served in a freshly baked loaf of bread. Baked stuffed eggplant comes oozing with ricotta cheese and is served with a side of pasta. Swordfish camelio (sauteed with garlic, white wine and vegetables) is okay, but won't make you forget Legal Sea Foods. Simple pies are available for dessert.
