Located in a 1910 brick building, Tosca serves highbrow, modern Italian cuisine to a moneyed, suburban clientele. The dining room, awash in exposed brick and warm woods, features a bustling open kitchen. Starters range from the familiar (fried calamari) to the offbeat (mushroom pate, Vidalia onion soup). Homemade pasta dishes include crab-stuffed cappelletti and orecchiette with housemade sausage. Asparagus-stuffed gray sole and a smoked lavender pork chop are typical of the intricate entrees.
