The Scene
Located on North Cambridge's main commercial drag, Full Moon was undoubtedly conceived with families in mind. Kids are so welcome, you're apt to feel like an intruder if you show up without tots in tow. At what other restaurant--except maybe McDonald's--can you find a playpen and dollhouse, a play kitchen and an abundance of toys? There's an elaborate kids' menu, and each entree is less than $5 and comes with fruit and veggies for a balanced meal.
The Food
Too often, dining comfortably with kids means having to resort to mediocre food. Not only is the food here good, but the ingredients are also fresh and the dishes are made to order. Grilled monkfish with an Asian-influenced soy-wasabi sauce or the house's special pizza satisfy adult diners; the mac and cheese has kids raving.
