The oldest Portuguese restaurant in Boston, Casa Portugal features a wealth of traditional and innovative dishes. Rustic, authentic, and unpretentious, many diners come to the restaurant in large groups ready to share. The hearty menu includes large portions of authentic dishes such as carne de porco a alentejana (pork and clams), camaro grelhado (grilled shrimp), bife a portugusa (steak with an egg on top), and a variety of stews and paella-like dishes. Friendly waitstaff can assist with selections of native wines. Portuguese favorites such as flan, arroz dolce, and natas de céu complete the meal.
