The Scene
Suburbanites and young couples flock to this Kenmore Square spot for impeccable service and top-level sushi. Kimono-clad, bilingual waitresses greet diners with a hot towel and proceed to describe the numerous Japanese delicacies on the lengthy, intricate menu. Rounding out the ambience is the bright sushi bar (patrolled by up to four master dicers and rollers) and a killer sake bar that features 20 varieties.

The Food
With an extensive, colorful sushi list and over 100 items on the dinner menu, patrons face several tough decisions when ordering. After starting with a taste of the award-winning sushi (try a slice of delicate tuna belly or the refreshingly clean avocado and eel roll), enjoy an entree of lightly fried shrimp tempura or smoky beef negima (scallion) teriyaki. Creamy, homemade coconut ice cream provides a palate-cleansing finish.
