I am going to keep it short-and-sweet... It was late, I was tipsy. The pizza was hot, fresh, LARGE, and cheap. I was a happy camper. NY Pizza was the best...read more

The Scene
With only six booths and no public bathroom, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this place is predominately for takeout. The phone rings off the hook with orders, and there's a fair amount of foot traffic as well. The dining area looks well used. Place your order at the counter underneath the cardboard menus that look like they've been there forever. Service is fast and friendly.
The Food
For $2 a slice, this is the best buy in town and diners on the run take advantage of this deal. Too bad the pizza doesn't live up to its value. The sauce is tasteless, the dough tough to chew. A better option is a grinder made on fresh Italian bread; the steak and cheese is loaded with steak and slathered in just enough mayonnaise.
