In Short
Mangia's simple storefront churns out deceptively complex pies. High-end toppings--many veggies are purchased from local organic farmers--include baby clams, capers and Asiago cheese. Californian vine-ripened tomatoes are used to make the sauce. Fresh salads run the gamut from straightforward Greek to herb-crusted goat cheese with sun-dried tomatoes. Boutique sodas from the Boylan Bottling Company (varieties include cherry red birch beer and grape) are sold as well.
