In Short Rarely a calm place to grab a meal, Figs is a local favorite for designer pizzas and salads. After nibbling on oniony focaccia, most diners move on to starters like lightly fried Rhode Island calamari or bacon and spinach salad. The 15 or so thin-crust pizza varieties are big enough for two and include eclectic toppings like figs and homemade chicken sausage. Unlike the other area location, the Charles St. location does not serve dessert.
