The Scene
Young professionals and, surprise, Sox fans fill this exceptionally attractive bar and restaurant to munch on gourmet basics. Both the menu and atmosphere (a minimalist decor made up mostly of concrete, brick and wood) are pretty much identical to those of the original location in Harvard Square. Laid-back bartenders serve up pitchers of microbrews and glasses from the short, cosmopolitan wine list.
The Food
While the menu consists only of creative salads and pizzas, no one seems to complain. Top salads include the Bibb lettuce, grape tomato and Gorgonzola, and the bresaola, arugula and shaved Parmigiano varieties. The excellent charcoal-grilled, thin crust pizzas come in half and full sizes. Good options include the No. 4, with portobello, roasted onion and Asiago, and the No. 6, sporting roasted peppers, grilled chicken, mozzarella and Romano.
