The Scene
Befitting one of the North End's most acclaimed restaurants, Prezza lures business types away from the financial district to select from an exceptionally well-chosen wine list. Soft lighting and a warm color scheme yield a distinctly romantic atmosphere for the many area couples who stop in for astoundingly flavorful wood-grilled meats and fish. Pleasant servers wield an exceptional knowledge of the menu's many subtleties.
The Food
The lengthy menu presents a bevy of difficult choices. Fortunately, the kitchen displays a bit of flexibility by allowing patrons to enjoy homemade pasta dishes like sweet corn raviolini (tossed with rock shrimp, pancetta, parmigiano and white wine) as either a starter or an entree. Food lovers take note of the quality ingredients used, including fresh heirloom tomatoes and delicate zucchini flowers. Regulars lay off the bread so they can luxuriate in homemade desserts like light tiramisu and ultra-eggy butterscotch creme brulee.
