The Scene
This unassuming little restaurant has only a couple dozen tables, but boasts an extensive menu directed by the same chef as the more upscale Asiatique. The interior is a bit run down, so if you're seeking a spiffy atmosphere, order your food to go.
The Food
August Moon's chef turns out definitive classics like lemon chicken, beef with peanuts, and an array of fried rice and lo mein dishes. All ingredients are of the highest quality and very fresh. Spicy Malaysian entrees and at least a dozen of the flavorful vegetarian dishes are also suitable for vegans, but even a carnivore will love the hot Szechuan green beans. Servers will happily refill your bowl of addictive crispy noodles.
