Thrift store paintings, Christmas lights and Mediterranean-inspired light fixtures make up the vintage decor, at this throwback restaurant, where the menu reads, ''May we suggest a cocktail before and after dinner.'' The nostalgic menu brims with classic American dishes, from super-crispy pan-fried chicken and bone-in strip steak to shrimp de Jonghe in sherry-garlic sauce. Another retro touch: All dinners include two rounds of relishes, soup or tomato juice, salad, garlic bread, potato, coffee and dessert.
