In Short
Just across from the Classic Cinemas Lake Theatre, this date spot is Oak Park's Indian restaurant of choice. With its red-patterned wallpaper, candles and oriental rugs, the look is a bit more formal than Chicago's Devon Street eateries, but the atmosphere is actually quite casual. Dishes are available a la carte, but the extensive buffet is the best bet, with a spread of naan, samosas, curries made with chicken, lamb or Bengali fish and more.
