In Short
Across the street from the Evanston Public Library, this hangout is warm and inviting, with old family photographs on the walls, bookcases lined with Irish and British literary works, and an ornate old bar that begs to be bellied up to. Bartenders pull pints of pub faves like Guinness, Boddington's, Smithwicks and Harp, while the separate dining room serves up classic pub fare plates like bangers and mash, fish and chips, and shepherd's pie.
