In Short
It's a big deal when an esteemed chef leaves his prime city nests (Boka and Landmark) for the suburbs, but a good restaurant is a good restaurant regardless of location. Here in a Burr Ridge mall, Chef Guisepe Scurato whips up some surprises. Flavors pop from start to finish, like a Spanish-spiced crab cake with zings of citrus and grapefruit, sweet potato gnocchi stuffed with duck confit and grilled liver with fried onions, bacon, parsley salad, ketchup and red wine syrup. The interior could almost be mistaken for a downtown restaurant with sexy horseshoe booths and amber lighting.
