This casual space has a modest, banquet-room feel, but the budget-conscious crowd doesn't mind. A popular and inexpensive lunch buffet offers old standbys like naan (flatbread), spiced lamb, lentils and veggie curries. Ordering off the menu is nearly as cheap. Any charcoal-flavored item from the tandoor oven is a good bet. Unusal alu mutter, a ''mild'' potato and pea concoction, hits the tongue like sweet citrus, but by the back of the throat it's lips-on-fire, nose-running hot.
