This homey little restaurant, splashed with color from vivid blue tables and chairs and muted lime-green walls, hums with sounds from the open kitchen and the lively conversation of neighborhood patrons. Antojitos (little snacks) center around corn and include gorditas (corn masa patties filled with goat cheese) and flautas de pollo (shredded chicken inside crisp rolled corn tortillas). Larger dishes include sopes--moist masa cakes topped with meat or vegetables, cheese, pico de gallo and sour cream. Alambre cazuela lets you make your own tacos with your choice of meat and sides of onions, cilantro and pineapple. For dessert: creamy, caramelized flan.
