In Short
Soaring exposed ductwork ceilings, hefty concrete columns and an open floor plan lend an industrial edge to this restaurant from the sons of restaurateur Richard Melman. Drapery, dark, heavily grained wood tables and oversized windows soften the feel of the dining room. The clever and diverse menu offers everything from avant-sushi to tweaked standards. Among the faves: baked potato debris--crunchy bits of russets with sage, rosemary and Romesco sauce--and an open-faced BLT with Nueske bacon. Taps, cans and bottled brews as well as a potent house punch with citrus vodka, tequila Licor 43 and pom, fuel the fun.
