Friendly, efficient servers wielding skewers and dressed in Gaucho garb serve a parade of meats to a well-dressed mix of local families, business diners and tourists who converse easily over the upbeat soundtrack of Brazilian rock. The traditional Brazilian steakhouse meal starts with a trip to the abundant, varied salad bar stocked with cold cuts, vegetables, cheeses, oysters, sushi and more. Then comes the main event: filet mignon, top sirloin, rack of lamb, garlic beef coulette, bacon-wrapped chicken breast and sausage. Tall windows covered in gauzy purple fabric border the spacious L-shaped dining room where saffron walls and red and terra-cotta upholstered chairs add to the vibrant scene.
