The rehabbed Park View Hotel right where Old Town meets Lincoln Park is a perfect setting for this downtown-meets-neighborhood restaurant. Nautical touches are evident in horizontal varnished planks and striped, aqua-tone fabric. Sail-like tenting covers the ceiling and birch logs are a dramatic centerpiece. Tentori's food is familiar and ambitious at once; an appetizer presents flawless beef carpaccio next to tuna crudo dotted with fish eggs and otherwise ordinary roasted lamb chops seem charged next to a cumin-scented bundle of braised lamb neck in caul fat.
