In Short
This vibrant storefront with brightly colored wainscotting dotted with equally colorful art sports a fast-food feel. Mismatched wood tables allow for dining in, though many customers choose to carry out. The menu is smaller than that of sister property, Maiz, and emphasizes about a dozen of its eponymous eats, such as chorizo or tinga-marinated chicken steamed in corn husks or banana leaves. Other street foods like sincronizada, a tortilla-based sandwich filled with grilled ham, pineapple and chihuahua cheese, also make the cut. Classics like carne asada, burritos and enchiladas complement salads with jicama and mango in avocado dressing.
