In Short
Grids of dangling ''Edison-style'' lightbulbs, dimmed ever so slightly, soften what would otherwise be a sterile industrial space. Supersized curtains open to rooms of horseshoe-shaped upholstered booths, backlit mirrors and a large chandelier hanging in a private room. Spouses Mohammad Islam and Malika Ameen have great expectations and live up to them. Shards of slow-cooked rabbit mingle with raisins and warm ribbons of tagliatelle, while an asparagus soup warms the bones with a morsels of buttery scallops. Hunky lamb chops and coconut-crusted white bass comprise main courses, making way for stunning desserts.
